We have lead-ins for all grades of consultant (Associate to Senior) within our Johannesburg office. Your role will include carrying out penetration testing and security assessments right up to beleaguered attack simulations which may span several months.
We would also love you to do some research to make sure your skills remain applicable in a fast-paced world of security.
How you spend the rest of the time that’s not working with customers is your call. F-Secure has a promise to research. Whether it is used to investigate new software, hardware, or protocols, we inspire out team to push the limits of what is possible!

A passion for security!
You love computers, you love security and you love hacking things and finding solutions to problems. If this wasn’t your job it would be your hobby. You must have technical excellence. You must know your subject area, but you’ll also know what that subject area is without us needing to say.
Self-motivation
You’re not going to be told what to do all the time. You are proficient of guessing out what spending time working is of benefit to F-Secure and our customers and then run with it. With great freedom comes great accountability and you also try to find out guidance from those around you when you need it.
Communication skills
How can we add value to our client’s organizations unless we can voice to them what we did, how we did it, and how they can fix it? But messaging also outspreads to sharing your knowledge with your colleagues and the wider industry.
An ideal candidate
- Must have a relevant Degree (Computer Engineering / Computer Science) or
- Having an OSCP / OSCE certification will be an advantage
- When you aren’t studying you are displaying a strong interest in Cyber Security

Post Basic Pharmacist Asst. Learnerships (12M/FTC) AJ Staff –
Durban, KwaZulu-Natal
R3,000 per month – Contract, Science
This training is likely to be conducted by the Wits Health Consortium in conjunction with the Department of Health’s Health and Human Services Education and Training Authority (HWSETA). background Wits Health Consortium (Pty) Limited (“WHC”) is a wholly owned subsidiary of the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, South Africa within the Department of Health Sciences. The WHC provides the department with an authorized framework to conduct research and other activities needed to support its academic goals. In addition, WHC offers scientists conducting these activities a range of products and services to assist them in accomplishing these activities.
The main purpose of science
- To enable unemployed basic pharmacy assistants to successfully complete further training aimed at enabling students to qualify as (post-basic) pharmacy assistants while gaining work experience in Ministry of Health institutions position
- Kwa Zulu Natal Duties of the student
- You must have successfully completed at least 12 months of training in a pharmacy approved by the Ministry of Health under the supervision of an official mentor
- You must complete all required training and pass competency assessments
- You must complete and submit an Evidence Portfolio
- You must assist the pharmacy health team under the supervision of a registered pharmacist and to the extent legally possible in accordance with South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC) guidelines.
Minimum education and training required
- Must have 10th grade (elementary) math/math skills
- You should have English as a first or second language (essential)
- Must have national certification: Pharmacy Assistant (basic knowledge)
- Must be registered with SAPC (registration assistance will be provided if required)
- Applicants must be South African citizens residing in the KZN
- All applicants must be unemployed
